City of Soledad 
Parks and Recreation

Working with the City of Soledad we have been working hard to create long lasting partnerships that benefit our community. Offering a shared workout class punch card and 4 weeks of a shared Summer Day Camps, this is just the start of recreation offerings for our community!

Local Business
Taste of Pinnacles 

Taste of the Pinnacles is a wine bar and lounge in Soledad that has allowed the District to host Paint & Sip and Trivia Nights locally. We hope to continue these offerings this summer.

Dolphin Swim Team 

Our club is a USS year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability. Dolphin Swim Team started in 2019 with then Coach Mariah LaCroix and continues this year with Coach Ivan Espinoza

Local Business
Lum Building 

Inside the Lum Plaza you will find many office buildings filled with offices and restaurant and our very own Martial Arts Program. Instructor, Hector Bugarin has been teaching for the District since 2009 and we have been greatful for Robert Lum to offer a space for this program to continue to grow

Soledad Unified
School District

Working with Soledad Unified School District we are expanding the districts offering with two programs run in partnership with the Soledad Unified School District. 

  1. Soledad High Swim Team. Starting in 2006 as a club with volunteer coaches then was instituted as a team for Soledad High School in 2009. 2022 The Soledad High Female team took championships. 

  2. Pose & Play Yoga began in the afterschool program for grades 3  - 5 in the Fall of 2019 but was unfortunately put on hold due to the pandemic. Restarted in 2021-2022 school year we have completed one full year in the afterschool program and hope to continues its offering in the future.

Local Business
California Gourmet Pizza

California Gourmet Pizza a local hot spot for Soledad and has been home to many local organization and family parties. The Rec District has offered Family Paint Nights and Staff Celebrations. We hope to continue these offerings this summer.

Junior Giants

Starting summer 2022 under Sports Coordinator, Anthony Mena, Junior Giants is a free, noncompetitive and coed baseball and softball program. Over 24,000 youth across California, Nevada and Oregon participate annually. The program offers equipment, uniforms, program incentives and coaches training.

Junior Giants wants to help you lead, succeed and have fun!

Anyone can play!

Soledad Lions & Lionesses 

In the spirit of coming together, this year the Soledad Lionesses partnered with the District and Soledad Parks and Rec to put on a free Easter Event for our community. This event offered free hot dog lunches, arts and crafts, face paintings, and healthy snack crafts. We hope to continue to work with this community based organization.
